Damara and Jason came to see us on their Baby Tour 2010:
We went to GramE’s with Aunts Peggy and Betsy, and Uncles Glenn, Chip, and Frank. Anna was in an evening fussy period, and I took few pictures, but we did laugh as GramE calmed her by spinning the chandelier. Ooooh, shiny.
Anna bought us flowers for our 4th anniversary. Way to spend that allowance, kiddo! She is so smart to have had Grandma pick them up for her on the way to visit, especially since they were bigger than her! (Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa–they were beautiful!). The evening of our anniversary, John and I went out to dinner for the first time since Anna was born. GramE babysat, and even let us borrow her car when we discovered our car wouldn’t start, and came by to jump it the next morning (it’s fine now). Anna did great. Thanks, GramE! We splurged on The Peacock Inn, which has the best formal ambiance in Princeton, very friendly staff, and impressive food. To top it all off, John bought me a wedding band that fits! I haven’t been able to wear my rings since February, and I really missed them. Until my ring size settles down and I can wear my originals or have them resized, I can wear a symbol of John’s vow again. Hooray!
Anna’s getting more smiley and expressive, especially in the mornings:
John spotted a hawk on our street:
Grandpa Bill came for a visit:
Anna’s uncle Max came from Chicago to show Lucy (yes, Lucy) around. Lucy was his Chinese teacher when he was in China. She’s here teaching English on a Fulbright Scholarship, and stayed with my parents for a few days. We had a full house!
